Every year on Canada Day, the Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department, along with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), come together for a spirited baseball game against the Petrolia Challengers, an adaptive baseball team that empowers children and adults living with physical or cognitive disabilities. This Annual Baseball game has become a cherished tradition in the community, showcasing the camaraderie among local emergency services and community programs while highlighting the importance of inclusivity and support for individuals with disabilities.
The Challengers: Empowering Through Sport
