The Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department (PNEFD) hosts an annual BBQ fundraiser located at the Fire Hall on Centre St in Petrolia. The Fundraiser BBQ coincides with the Petrolia community yard sale day, becoming a bit of a tradition, bringing together residents for a day of bargain finds, good food, and community engagement.
A Day of Community Engagement
On June 14th of this year, the PNEFD got to work and spent the day cutting onions, grilling burgers and showing off firetrucks! The event not only provided a delicious meal for attendees but also served as an excellent opportunity for community members to meet their local fire department members, ask questions and learn a bit more about what we do.

Fire Truck & Facility Tours
One of the highlights of the day was the display of fire trucks, which drew the attention of many children and their families. The fire department organized tours of the trucks and the fire hall, allowing kids and their families to explore and learn about the equipment that keeps their community safe. This hands-on experience helped foster a deeper understanding of the important work that firefighters do every day.
Supporting Local Emergency Services
The BBQ fundraiser is not just about food and fun; it plays a crucial role in raising funds for the Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department. The money raised during this event goes directly towards essential equipment, training, and community outreach programs. By participating, residents not only enjoy a great meal but also contribute to the safety and well-being of their community.
